- Hittin' in San Juan with drummer Jimmy Rivera and bassist Sammy Morales.

- With some of my favorite musicians: grammy nominated, world class percussionist Paoli Mejias, bass master and syncopation monster Ramon Vazquez, and modern montuno guru extaordinaire, Eric Figueroa.

- Drummer Jimmy Rivera is in my estimation one of the unsung heroes as a longtime pioneer adapting drum set to afro carribean rhythms as well as being an outstanding jazz drummer.

- Saxophonist Jose "Furito" Rios and pianist Eric Figueroa (master of the montuno) have diligently and courageously represented the best of the art form.

- Don Modesto Cepeda, son of the patriarchs of the Puerto Rican Bomba and keeper of the flame. He was extremely gracious to share with me his time and words of experience and knowledge. Gracias Maestro!!

- Petra Cepeda, sister of Don Modesto, an icon of the folkloric bomba legacy was kind enough to share her perspective of the tradition.

- Tata Cepeda is my favorite female bomba dancer. Elegance ,nobility, beauty, pride, power, and grace are all embodied in her expresion of this noble art form.

- Angel Reyes is extremely generous and passionate in sharing his love for the disimination of the Puerto Rican bomba tradition. Thank you for your kind inspiration and talent.
